On application to a mortally-wounded target, the victim is automatically stabilized. One minute later, they heal 1d6+4 hit points and are restored to functional consciousness. No System Strain is inflicted, but a biostasis seal can only help a target once per day. The seal is expended when used.

The ramp lowers, allowing all of you to exit into a mountain clearing. The base is 2km to the north, over a small hill that is heavily wooded before you. The trees are very tall, and the trunks are spaced apart, you should be able to pass comfortably even in your bulky plate. Scans of the immediate landing zone show the area free of enemy patrols.

Seung sees a light mech in position at the gate with six soldiers. They’re in heavy armor and on high alert. Between the gate and the clearing where you’ve landed a patrol of two buggy-like scout vehicles each with a railgun on the cuppola roof make their way to the drop zone. Their pace is efficient but not hurried

(It’s probably part of their patrol route and not a detection of the shuttle)

(9 damage, can roll evasion for 1/2 rounded down) It raises its plasma thrower to the wall, and bathes Cayne's position in liquid fire. The angle is poor, the blanket of flame impacting stone, but nothing else (missed, 13)

The second mech plants its feet, and its heel claws dig in

It fires its twin railguns at seung

At the core entrance, six soldiers appear (their turn was double moving) They are wearing spiked boarding plate, and ornate coifs. The coifs covering their heads are made of chainmail, the silver links dyed an oily black. The only gap in the tinkling chain is for their eyes, covered by red tinted goggles and heavy breathing tubes.
